Mock Trial Team holds up hands to show 5 fingers for 5th place win
The KCCHS Mock Trial Program is an engaging, hands-on education program with an innovative approach– it combines civic education with performance-based academic competition. Working in teams under the guidance of dedicated teachers and attorney coaches, students learn about the law and legal system while enacting roles in trial proceedings. In addition, our students learn more than just the hard facts. They build confidence and public speaking skills, develop critical thinking and reasoning, collaborate as a unified team, and learn how to effectively navigate challenges.
 
KCCHS has built a comprehensive program and strong cohort of student leaders year after year. The King-Chavez team has held a successful track record while competing across San Diego County earning awards such as placement within the Top 10 multiple times and Best Defense Trial Attorney.
